HubHive (we, us, our) operates a community platform that connects people with the local hives, events, and businesses that matter to them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using HubHive, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use HubHive.

Account information you provide — your name, phone number, email (optional), avatar, and any profile details you add.

Content you create — posts, comments, reactions, polls, RSVPs, quote requests, reviews, and messages you send through the platform.

Usage information — which hives you join, businesses you follow, events you RSVP to, and which features you use, so we can keep the experience relevant.

Device and log information — IP address, device type, browser, operating system, and approximate location, used to keep the service secure and to debug problems.

To provide and improve the HubHive experience — sign-in, your feed, your hive memberships, search, and notifications.

To keep HubHive safe — detect spam, abuse, and security threats; enforce our Terms of Service.

To communicate with you — confirmation codes, transactional notifications, and product updates you opt into.

To understand product usage in aggregate — we use analytics to learn which features help and which need work. Where possible, this analysis uses anonymized or pseudonymized data.

With your hives — content you post inside a hive is visible to its members based on the hive privacy settings you choose.

With service providers — vendors that help us run HubHive (hosting, SMS delivery, analytics, error monitoring) under contract and only for the purposes we direct.

For legal reasons — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect HubHive and our community from harm.

We do not sell your personal information.

You can update or delete your profile, posts, and other content at any time through Settings.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by contacting us at the email below.

You can manage notification preferences in Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights.

HubHive is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and, if the changes are material, give you reasonable notice through the app or email before they take effect.
